Websites

With today’s site builders, particularly Squarespace, beautiful web design is accessible to everyone; it’s less about coding and more about unbridled possibilities. I recommend Squarespace to my clients because it’s easy to learn and removes the need to rely on designers to maintain your site - if this is what you want. In a few short sessions I can show you how to make updates, send out an email campaign, or post a video.

Yvon Justin Côté

Justin is a Vancouver-based realtor who wanted a simple site he could manage himself as his listings change often. Working together, we created a tool he feels comfortable making updates and adding blog entries. He’s also branched into using his site to connect to social media as a tool to advertise his listings and where to go to find more information.

Wunsch.png

Wildermuth Wunschfahrten

We built this site for a company that takes tourists around Switzerland by private bus. The owner wanted to show examples of some of the trips he does regularly and allow users to book their trip online. The biggest challenge of this site was working in German and making sure everything is grammatically correct. I created custom illustrations for each page of the site showcasing particular locations in Switzerland.

yopini

Yopini is a yoga studio in Winterthur, Switzerland. In collaboration with Sonja Schneider Design I worked on almost all aspects of branding the project, including building a website with a scheduling module and booking capabilities. The owner of the studio was able to take on maintaining and working on her site after it was built, with a very small amount of coaching. She’s tied it to her Instagram account as well, and it’s fun to see her enjoying the process of running her site as well as her business.

gilding
online

Gilding Online is a portfolio site for a Vancouver, BC-based picture frame maker named Scott Browning who specializes in museum-quality hand-carved wood picture frames. The craft of picture-frame making is one with a long and fascinating history, and Scott’s work is an art unto itself. We worked together to create a site that showcases the broad scope of his work, photographing the process of building frames from beginning to hanging in museums and private collections.

disc golf armory

This site was built to help this Washington-based company advertise its mobile disc golf business. It’s intended as a place to go for people looking for disc golf equipment, lessons, course design and as a listing for current disc golf events.

la casa
de la sirena

La Casa de la Sirena is a beautiful condo in Zihuatenejo, Mexico that I was asked by the owner to help sell. This project was comprehensive; I wrote the text and descriptions, took the photos, drew floor plans and built the website. It was a joy to create and I’d jump at the chance to travel to Mexico to build a website again.

wildermuth woodworks

Wildermuth Woodworks is a site built for a carpenter and builder based in Hinwil, Switzerland near Zurich. The owner requested a portfolio site showing the scope of his work and a variety of recent projects. Working with Sonja Schneider Design (who created the logo), our goal was to create a site that reinforces the Wildermuth brand and opens our client up to the possibility of finding new projects.
