From a young age I dreamed of making my living making beautiful things, and that dream has evolved to be about creating communications that are as ethical, sustainable and locally-sourced as possible.
I love working on projects that bring people and communities together. I love seeing my clients succeed. The “& Co.” is an homage to the people I work with, both my clients and suppliers and the endless support I get from my family, friends and community.
I earned a degree in Communication Design at the Emily Carr University of Art and Design in Vancouver, BC, and a degree in History in Art at University of Victoria on Vancouver Island. I’m a Pacific North West homer; it’s my favourite place on earth, and find endless inspiration being outdoors. I’m an amateur birder and horticulturalist. I once wished to work as a botanical illustrator. I love to travel and Switzerland is my favourite place to go because of its amazing hiking and walking trails.
One of main themes of my adult life is a dedication to frisbee sports, particularly disc golf. I have competed nationally and internationally and have been a part of a gold-medal winning, World Champion Team Canada, one of my proudest achievements. I love to design courses, artwork for discs, team jerseys, and to create maps for disc golf when I’m not working on other graphic design projects or playing disc golf.
